Sue Read R.I.

Sue Read studied painting at High Wycombe School of Art and the West of England college of Art. She has been a professional watercolour artist for 25 years, exhibiting in many galleries in England and abroad. She has won many awards.
Working in pure translucent watercolour, she chooses her subjects for their translucency, lustre and subtle colour - antique porcelain, shells, eggs, glass and fruit.
She was elected a member of the Royal Institute of Painters in Watercolours in 1985, and has served as a member of the Council.
Her work has been shown in the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition, the New English Art Club, The Linda Blackstone Gallery and the Alresford Gallery.

Most of Sue's prints are miniatures and are mounted in antique white board to fit a standard 8"x10" frame. They are usually smaller than the image appears on a screen so check each one for exact size.

They are cellophane wrapped and supplied with a guarantee certificate.
