Russell Collins Pottery

Born in London, Russell trained as a teacher in Chichester, West Sussex and later joined the “Ground-Breaking” Harrow Art School Pottery Course.

In 1967 he established Chipping Norton Pottery

In 2012 Russell downsized and moved to a smaller studio where he concentrates on developing individual pieces for private clients, galleries, museums and exhibitions.

All of Russell’s work is reduction fired to 1300C. It is safe for domestic use and has no metal release. The clay and glazes have been tested and certified by the British Ceramic Research Association.

We just love the subtle muted colours of Russell Collins’ beautifully crafted pottery
